Welcome to North Jersey Lactation. My name is Paula Fitt, I am a Registered Nurse, and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have been working with mothers and babies since 1997.
Prior to having my own two children in 2002 and 2004, my work with mothers and babies was in the area of labor and delivery. It was not long after the birth of my first child that I realized there was a need for private practice lactation support in the northern New Jersey area. I made a promise to myself, and to my children, to fill that need.
Since then, I have been working passionately to help mothers and babies in the north Jersey area meet their breastfeeding goals. I truly love the work that I do. I believe that making breastfeeding easier for the mothers around me is an investment in my own world, and the world I will one day turn over to my children.
